Peterbilt of Wisconsin
Chuck Jorgensen and partners founded Peterbilt of Wisconsin, opening their first Peterbilt dealership in Waukesha, WI.
1974
Peterbilt Wisconsin-Madison opened
1977
Peterbilt Wisconsin-Green Bay opened
1980
Alltrux Leasing was established to offer comprehensive lease and rental solutions.
1983
Eric Jorgensen, second generation of the family business, started his career at Peterbilt of Wisconsin.
1984
JX Financial was established to offer financing and insurance solutions.
JX Enterprises, Inc. was established, incorporating Peterbilt of Wisconsin, Alltrux Leasing, and JX Financial.
1996
Peterbilt Wisconsin-Wausau opened introducing a Volvo franchise to JX, expanding new truck offerings.
1997
Peterbilt Illinois-Bloomington opened, expanding services into Illinois.
Peterbilt Illinois-Wadsworth opened
2000
Peterbilt Illinois-Champaign opened.
Eric Jorgensen, the second generation of the family business, assumed the role of President & CEO of JX Enterprises.
2002
JX Graphics was established to offer custom graphics.
2003
Peterbilt Illinois-Rockford opened
2007
Peterbilt Wisconsin-Appleton opened
Peterbilt Wisconsin-Milwaukee opened
Peterbilt Illinois-Joliet opened
2010
Peterbilt of Wisconsin and Peterbilt of Illinois rebranded to JX Peterbilt.
JX Peterbilt-Bensenville opened.
JX Peterbilt-Grand Rapids opened expanding services into Michigan.
2011
JX Peterbilt-Indianapolis opened, expanding services into Indiana.
JX Peterbilt-Fort Wayne opened
2012
JX Peterbilt-Lansing opened
2013
Alltrux Capital, LLC was established as the second finance company.
JX Hino-Chicago opened
2015
JX Peterbilt-Lafayette opened
JX Peterbilt-Kalamazoo opened
JX Peterbilt-Mineral Point opened
2016
TRP-Chicago opened as JX’s first parts only store.
2017
JX Peterbilt and JX Hino rebranded to JX Truck Center.
The JX Gives Back Family Foundation was founded with the purpose of providing support to local non-profit organizations.
2018
JX Truck Center-Mount Pleasant opened
JX Truck Center-Niles opened as a parts-only store
TRP-Gaylord opened as a parts-only store
2019
JX Truck Center-Morton opened
2020
JX Enterprises achieved one of its largest milestones yet, celebrating its 50th anniversary.
JX Truck Center-Hickory HIlls opened, awarding JX as the third-largest PacLease fleet in the world.
JX Truck Center-Marquette opened as its first location in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan.
JX Enterprises acquired Marquette Mountain Resort, an all-seasons resort, located in Marquette, MI to be a part of the JX Xperience.
2021
JX Truck Center- Effingham opened.
Hannah Freeman, daughter of Eric Jorgensen, and Austin Freeman, son-in-law of Eric Jorgensen, joined the family business as the third generation of JX.
2022
JX Enterprises acquired Total Appearance, a collision repair and custom graphics shop, and Amcan Truck Parts, a parts facility offering e-commerce and custom truck solutions, located in Pewaukee, WI.
2023
JX Enterprises became an authorized Battle Motors dealer expanding its new truck offering.
2024
JX acquired a property in Gurnee, Illinois to expand training services and business offerings.
2025
JX celebrates 55 years of business.
