The zero-emission New Peterbilt Model 536EV combines Class 6 medium-duty versatility with advanced electric technology for regional haul and pickup and delivery operations. Built on a lightweight aluminum cab with EV-exclusive side hood panels, blue crown and grille accents, and specialized aerodynamic styling, it offers a 26,000 lb GVWR without compromising operational capability or maneuverability.
Powered by the PACCAR ePowertrain with a midship-mounted dual electric motor, the 536EV produces up to 470 HP and 1,100 lb.-ft. of torque with zero tailpipe emissions. Featuring a 250 kWh high-voltage battery system providing an estimated range of up to 200 miles, it supports DC fast charging (80% in 80 minutes), adjustable regenerative braking, and an optional 25 kW ePTO to power body equipment.
Inside the driver-centric 2.1-meter cab, the 536EV features Magneto Gray trim with laser-etched panels and a 15-inch digital display screen with real-time EV efficiency metrics. Drivers benefit from low cab floor entry, superior visibility, Bendix Fusion ADAS safety systems, and integrated telematics for charge management.
