JX Truck Center Leader Featured in National Safety Magazine

Melissa McMahon, Director of EHS at JX.

JX Truck Center takes safety seriously, with our employees as well as with our customers. Our Director of Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS), Melissa McMahon, was recently featured in Environmental Business Review, a national industry magazine.

Melissa joined the JX family in 2022 to oversee safety programming across all our locations. While much of the safety work happens behind the scenes, such as analyzing data to prevent incidents before they occur, her focus on building a proactive safety culture affects everyone who steps onto a JX property. By keeping our team trained and our facilities secure, Melissa ensures that we deliver the highest standard of safe, reliable service to our customers.

When asked about the national recognition, Melissa was quick to share the credit:

“The safety role isn’t usually in the spotlight, so being recognized on a national level is a huge honor. There is no higher compliment than earning the respect of peers who truly understand the complexity of the work we do every day. This recognition belongs just as much to our safety team, managers, and employees who put these principles into practice.”

For our customers, Melissa is dedicated to a deep commitment to Lifelong Learning and training our teams to create Positive Experiences. Safety isn’t just an internal policy; it directly impacts how we serve you every day. Her training ensures our parts delivery drivers arrive safely and on time, and our dealerships are clearly marked with proper signage for safety exits and tornado shelters, so you always feel secure on our properties. When you partner with us, you are working with a team that prioritizes safety from the ground up.

Congratulations, Melissa! We are incredibly proud to have you leading the charge and keeping our employees and customers safe every single day.
