The zero-emission New Peterbilt 548EV provides heavy-duty Class 8 power engineered specifically for tough vocational applications, construction, dump, and regional haul routes. Constructed on a rugged aluminum cab frame with severe-duty frame rails, a sloped hood for improved sightlines, and zero tailpipe emissions, it offers relentless strength for heavy-duty job sites.
Driven by the PACCAR ePowertrain delivering up to 605 HP peak power and 1,850 lb.-ft. of torque, the 548EV supports up to a 66,000 lb. GVWR and 82,000 lb. GCWR. Battery capacities up to 375 kWh provide up to 200 miles of operating range with fast DC charging (~80 minutes to 80%), selectable regenerative braking, and heavy-duty ePTO provisions (25 kW and 150 kW) to run hydraulic vocational equipment.
Inside the heavy-duty cab, the 548EV features a 15-inch digital driver information display with real-time EV telemetry, custom air-ride seating, and durable, easy-to-clean trim.
