JX Truck Center’s Melissa McMahon Honored by Environmental Business Review

Melissa McMahon, Director of EHS at JX.

JX Truck Center’s own Melissa McMahon has been honored by Environmental Business Review with a profile of her work in environmental, health, and safety (EHS).

Melissa joined the JX family in 2022 as the Director of EHS. She oversees the safety programming for all JX locations. “Being contacted by the committee with the news of this nomination was an incredibly grounding and humbling experience,” says McMahon. “Much of the daily work in the EHS field happens behind the scenes: building cultures, designing training programs, and analyzing data to prevent incidents before they occur.”

The organization honoring Melissa’s commitment to safety, The Environmental Business Review, is a national publication. This industry magazine helps organizations across the country manage sustainability, compliance, and safety standards. “The EHS role isn’t designed for the spotlight, so being recognized on a national level is an honor. There is no higher compliment than earning the respect of peers who truly understand the complexity and weight of work we do every day,” Melissa says.

Melissa feels this honor is also for those at JX Truck Center who work every day to make our workplace a safe environment. “The article is a powerful testament to employees & customers showing JX Truck Centers’ commitment to education, mentorship, and workforce development,” says McMahon. “This recognition belongs just as much to the safety team, managers, and employees who put the safety principles into practice every single day.”

Congratulations, Melissa! JX Truck Center is beyond lucky to call you family. Thank you for all you do for us day in and day out.
